Before our minds become filled with today’s plans, responsibilities and unanswered questions, let’s pause together. There is something deeply reassuring about beginning the day with Jesus rather than simply beginning with our to-do list. The Lord gently invites us to place Him first, not because He wishes to burden us, but because He knows that when our hearts are centred on Him, everything else is seen more clearly. Before we take another step into this new day, let’s first seek His presence together. Scripture (NIV) “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” — Matthew 6:33 Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of this new day and for the grace that meets us before we have accomplished anything. Help us to seek Your kingdom before our own ambitions, Your wisdom before our own understanding and Your will before our own preferences. As we follow Jesus today, teach us to trust that You already know what we need. Fill our hearts with a quiet confidence that comes from walking closely with Christ. May the Holy Spirit guide every conversation, every decision and every opportunity so that our lives reflect Your goodness and bring hope to those we meet. Keep our eyes fixed on what truly matters and let Your peace shape everything we do today. Fear will not win, because when we seek God’s kingdom first, Christ faithfully leads every step of our journey. May the Lord bless you with wisdom for today, peace for every decision and the quiet joy that comes from walking closely with Jesus.
