With only around 1,200 cases worldwide, CDG is a complex and often misunderstood disorder that affects physical and intellectual development. Lee shares her family’s story—raising Kelsey in Broome, navigating therapy and travel challenges, and advocating for greater inclusion and support through the Sybree Rose Button Foundation. She also highlights Kelsey’s incredible milestones: learning to crawl, speak with the help of a $7,500 communication device, and her love for music, school, and community. This interview builds toward the CDG Awareness Family Fundraiser, held at St Mary's Primary School on Saturday, May 17 from 2 PM.
