Matty J chats with Belinda Cooke and Eunice Yu about Strut, A new event promoting the creative skills of Indigenous fashion designers is being supported by the Shire of Broome this National Reconciliation Week. This will be the first event held on the new jetty and groyne, which is much-loved by the community after being completed late last year thanks to funding from the Shire and State Government. STRUT will showcase textiles and fashion from Aboriginal designers from across the Kimberley, while promoting Indigenous entrepreneurialism and creative skills.
