May 16 | The Consequences of Sin

Today’s reading from 2 Kings 24–25 and John 5:1–24 invites us to reflect on the reality that sin carries consequences, that spiritual drift eventually produces destruction, and yet that God continues to offer mercy and restoration even in humanity’s brokenness.
