Friends of the Rosary,In many countries, including England, the Netherlands, Spain, and Poland, on the first Thursday after Pentecost, the faithful observe the Feast of Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Eternal High Priest, according to the order of Melchizedek.Christ the Lord is the compassionate and trustworthy high priest (Hebrews 2:17), ever-living to intercede for humanity before The Father (Hebrews 7:25) and mediate between God and mankind.In him the Father has been well pleased from before all time.
