The Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation’s annual Shine a Light Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place on Sunday, December 7 to help raise vital funds for palliative care services in both Mayo and Roscommon. The Walk will precede the Ceremony and will begin at the Plaza in Knock at 4pm. To register go to www.hospice.ie or just rock up on the day with your walking shoes on. Adrianne chats here with Martina Jennings, CEO of the Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation about this event and other fundraisers, such as the Christmas Cards you can purchase online or in their shops around the county and a musical event taking place this weekend in Ballina, which will all help to fund the amazing Children’s Hospice that they are hoping to build in County Mayo to serve children and families in the Midwest and Western regions.
