Mayor Cara Spencer: My conversation at funeral was 'mischaracterized' by union & Chief

St Louis Mayor Cara Spencer joins Chris & Amy in-studio. She shares that she attended Officer Kevin Bradford's funeral, and struck up a conversation with some of his police academy graduates, who's motivation to be officers should 'inspire us all.' 'The compensation piece,' is an important part of the conversation about policing, says Spencer. She says that the officers didn't indicate that they were uncomfortable with the conversation. 'I was just floored by the comments by the police union, frankly & by the police chief,' says Spencer.
