McDavid-less Oilers visit the Fortress

Conner McDavid and at least five other Edmonton players are battling injuries and are likely to be out of action as the Oilers travel to Las Vegas to meet VGK at the Fortress. VGK has expanded its lead in the Pacific to 9 points over Edmonton. The Golden Knights are also needed just a point to secure a playoff berth with nine games remaining. Monday, Bruce Cassidy gave injury updates: Tomas Hertl remains out and will miss the entire week. Ilya Samsonov is listed as day-to-day (upper body) and Akira Schmid has been recalled from Henderson.
