Medina v. Planned Parenthood

from Queer PoliFaith

Welcome to today's episode of Queer PoliFaith! In this penultimate episode of season 4, we'll be talking about the case Medina v. Planned Parenthood in which the Supreme Court decided to cut off one avenue people have of protecting their rights and allowed states to cut Planned Parenthood off from Medicaid funding. Our other case is McLaughlin Chiropractic Associates v. McKesson Corp where SCOTUS continued its assault on the administrative state by stating that, in certain circumstances, the courts do not have to follow an agency's interpretation of the law. Our next episode will be in 3 weeks on December 11th and will be my interview with Billie and Paul Hoard about bullshit. After that, we'll be on break until February 2026.
