He has worked alongside Jack Kornfield, Sylvia Boorstein, and Sharon Salzberg. He has had a meditation practice for 25 years, primarily within the Insight Meditation tradition but also influenced by Advantage and Dzogchen teachings. For the past eight years, he has conducted meditation retreats in the wilderness (in the UK, India and the USA), combining his Buddhist practice with nature and environmental activism.
