Meet Ali Soheil, “Just Ordinary” Extraordinary Inspiration

from OVERFLOW with Kimberly Snider

Are you having an ordinary day? Join the conversation with Ali Soheil, who refers to himself as “just an average ordinary person” who, I think is inspiring action, within his team, his community, his volunteer work and is raising tens of thousands of dollars for a great cause, Youth Mental Health. This winter, through severe winter conditions, he rode his bike everyday through snow, sleet, traffic,  -20 °C (-4 °F) freezing, dangerous weather conditions without fail, simply to inspire awareness and action. What are we doing to build our youth for their future? He says he simply could not stand on the sidelines and do nothing, “It was my way of honoring the resilience of our youth.” At tough, challenging times, he wonders what small thing can each of us do in our own brilliant way? Ali’s life lessons will inspire courage and resilience: Take risks.Push the boundaries (of yourself!) Take baby steps and appreciate the progress (see note about things “going your way!”)Note: when the situation does not “go your way” be sure to appreciate that experience. Every situation that does not go your way offers more learning. Consider the obstacles and failures that offer lessons learned and a refection of a life well lived (… much more than the situation going so well, so positively… please refer back to Life Lesson #1.) One person, one bike ride, genuinely wanting to help and problem solve, is fueling others to connect with our community and the greater good. …moreover, truly connect to our authentic self to make our own impact on the world. "I am not perfect," Ali will declare, and today’s conversation will remind you to be the best version of yourself! Join the Conversation Instagram:             https://www.instagram.com/kingofmtn/LinkedIn:              https://www.linkedin.com/in/asoheil/ Support Ali’s 90 Days of Hope for Youth Mental Health here:https://jack.akaraisin.com/ui/5ACBF9A5EED941709993C2557204F0B3/ Let’s connect:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/PeopleBrain.OVERflow/Instagram:  https://www.instagram.com/overflow_podcast/Website:     https://peoplebrain.caLinkedIn:    https://www.linkedin.com/in/kimberly-j-snider/Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/overflow-with-kimberly-snider.
