#BreakingNews: The world's first vegan hospital says it's tackling one of the biggest problems in the health industry that few are talking about: feeding artery-clogging meat and dairy to patients who are ill and hospitalized. This is all happening in Beirut, Lebanon. Hayek Hospital is a family-owned private medical facility that switched out its menu in March of 2021 to 100% plant-based options. The hospital announced it this way. "Our patients will no longer wake up from surgery to be greeted with ham, cheese, milk, and eggs, the very foods that may have contributed to their health problems in the first place."
