MELCHIZEDEK - King of Salem - Earth's Hero for 200,000 Years! Part 4: Aftermath

This Saturday we continue our intriguing study on Machiventa Melchizedek. We last explored the nature of Abraham's covenant which is truly "the great Urantian agreement between divinity and humanity whereby God agrees to do everything; man only agrees to believe God's promises and to follow his instructions[!]" [(1020.7) 93:6.4]  We followed with a discussion of what we can learn from the program of Melchizedek's missionaries going out to the four corners of the earth. Melchizedek is counted in the Bible, Hebrews 7:3, as one, "Without father or mother or genealogy, without beginning of days or end of life, like the Son of God, he remains a priest for all time." Urantia Papers 93-98 are devoted to Melchizedek with Papers 96 and 97 treating the Hebrew religion's evolution--the world religion most heavily influenced, at least initiated, by his teachings. This week we concluded paper 93 with a study of Melchizedek's departure, the aftermath, and his present status.
