We'll discover how mortals, midwayers, seraphim, and even Paradise‑Havona beings can be elevated into these astonishing roles. Their assignments span the vast superuniverses. On this episode of The Cosmic Citizen we draw to a close our amazing exploration of Urantia Paper 21, "The Paradise Creator Sons," with a reading and discussion of Section 5, "Relation of Master Sons to the Universe," and Section 6, "Destiny of the Master Michaels."  These are the final gorgeous sections of an awe-inspiring paper. They are dense, sweeping, and full of that cosmic majesty that makes the Creator Sons, the Michaels, so compelling to learn about.   In these sections, Paper 21 unveils the breathtaking scope of a Master Michael’s sovereignty. It is a rulership earned through the lived experience of becoming one of us, and one with us. We learn that a Creator Son’s authority is supreme not because it is granted, but because it is experienced. They blend the perfect viewpoint of Paradise Deity with the intimate understanding of time‑space creatures. They bridge the perfect with the imperfect. Once a Michael completes his seven bestowals, he truly becomes the settled sovereign of his universe, guiding its destiny with wisdom, mercy, and unquestionable authority.  The final section of this paper dares to look ahead to what the future may hold for these Master Sons! While their full destiny remains unrevealed, the text hints that their liberated, super-finite potentials may one day blaze new paths of meaning and value in the outer universes. Just as Jesus Christ Michael once said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life...” the final section suggests that in eternity the Michaels will literally be that way. On this episode of The Cosmic Citizen we continued our reading and discussion of Urantia Paper 21. The Paradise Creator Sons, Section 4. The Michael Bestowals. We explored one of the most astonishing revelations in the Urantia Papers: the seven bestowals of a Paradise Creator Son. Before a Michael can rule a universe in his own right, he must walk seven different paths of creature experience. It's a voluntary descent from divinity into the very lives of the beings he has created. Each bestowal reveals a new facet of the Father’s nature, a new depth of divine empathy, and a new dimension of experiential wisdom. Unlike the Avonals, who always incarnate as mortals, the Michaels traverse seven distinct levels of creature existence, culminating in the supreme adventure of bestowal into the mortal life. Only once in the history of any universe is a Creator Son become “born of woman.” In our universe, that moment unfolded on our world, Urantia. When the babe of Bethlehem entered the world, he arrived as a Creator Son who had already completed six previous bestowals, and his life and death here completed the seventh. No wonder he could say, with cosmic certainty, “It is finished.” After this final bestowal, a Creator Son is no longer a vicegerent of the Father but a sovereign in his own right, truly a Master Son, one who has earned authority through lived experience and someone who embodies the fullness of divine origin and the hard‑won understanding of creature life. As we discussed last week, their sovereignty is achieved. This section invites us to rethink our own evolutionary struggles. If even the Michaels must pass through the school of experience to become worthy rulers, then our own ascent, being slow, imperfect, and often painful, is part of the same cosmic pattern and plan. The universe is literally built on experiential growth, and the Gods themselves have walked the path that waits for us.Enjoy!

In this episode of the Cosmic Citizen we continued our study of Paper 21. The Paradise Creator Sons, with a reading a discussion of Section 3. Local Universe Sovereignty.What does it mean for a Creator Son to truly earn the right to rule a universe? Urantia Paper 21 reveals the awe‑inspiring truth that Creator Sons, like Michael of Nebadon, do not seize sovereignty by divine privilege. To the contrary, they live it, share it, suffer it, and ultimately embodied it through the long, loving road of actual experience. A Creator Son is not given an automatic coronation. He goes through a universe‑shaping odyssey in which he, a divine being, voluntarily lays aside unearned authority to walk among his own creatures, to understand them from the inside, and to reveal the Father’s nature to them at every level of existence.We explore how love becomes leadership, how experience becomes authority, and how a Creator Son becomes a Master Son. The Creators of Local Universes.In this section, we stepped directly into the creative heart of a universe in the making. Here, the Paradise Creator Sons (those incomparable Michaels) prepare for the enthralling adventure of universe building. We learn of their long training on Paradise and in Havona, their study of older brothers across the superuniverses, and the moment they finally choose the space whereon their own creation will unfold.This section reveals the intimate partnership at the center of every local universe: the union of a Creator Son with a Creative Daughter of the Infinite Spirit. This being the Divine Minister who becomes the Creative Mother Spirit of her universe realm. Together, as cosmic universe parents, they shape energy, life, mind, and spirit.We read of the cosmic safeguards that govern creation as well as the astonishing diversity that arises as a result of the fact that no two Creator Sons are alike. We also discovered the administrative wisdom of these realms coming from beings like the Bright and Morning Star, the Union of Days, and the ubiquitous Mother Spirit, who herself is the cosmic womb in which we all live and grow.This is the continuing story of how universes begin through power, partnership, intention, and love. It’s a revelation of divine architecture and cosmic governance, but also a reminder that our universe of Nebadon was crafted with exquisite care by our own Creator Son and Creative Daughter. The implications are especially profound for us, as our Creator Son sojourned on this very world as Jesus of Nazareth.

In this episode, we begin a new study, Urantia Paper 21. The Paradise Creator Sons. We read and discussed the preamble and Section 1. Origin and Nature of Creator Sons.   We stepped into the dazzling origin story of the Paradise Creator Sons, the Michaels. They are the incomparable beings who design, build, and faithfully guide the local universes of time and space.The preamble introduces these universe creators as the unique offspring of the Universal Father and the Eternal Son, each one a singular, unrepeatable expression of divine personality and creative power. No two Creator Sons are alike; each is the “only‑begotten” of a perfect ideal, a living revelation of the united deity concepts that brought him into existence. Their relationship with the Father is intimate and profoundly affectionate. It is literally the cosmic source of the love mortal parents feel for their children.We discovered that these Michaels are not remote rulers. They are experiential sovereigns, having personally traversed the full range of creature ascent, from the outer circuits of Havona to the innermost. There is no essential experience of the children of time and space in which they have not participated. They know us because they have lived as we live, from the highest spiritual realms to the evolutionary worlds of material life.Then, Section 1 took us into the sublime moment of the Creator Son's origin: that instant when the fullness of the Father’s personality concept unites with the fullness of the Son’s spiritual ideation. From this perfect union flashes forth a new Creator Son, who is complete, final, and absolutely unique. Each Michael embodies the totality of every divine possibility inherent in his Paradise parents, yet each expresses divinity in a way that is entirely his own.We glimpsed the staggering scale of the order of Creator Sons (the Michaels). There are more than seven hundred thousand of them, each destined to preside over a local universe, each accompanied by a Trinity ambassador, each contributing to the unfolding unity of the grand universe. This week was our final study of Urantia Paper 20. The Paradise Sons of God, we will read Section 9. Planetary Service of the Daynals, and Section 10. United Ministry of the Paradise Sons.In this study we took another step into a breathtaking vision of the moment when a world finally becomes truly ready for a spiritual age, when the Trinity Teacher Sons (the Daynals) volunteer to guide it into the dawn of cosmic enlightenment.Urantia has never experienced such an age. But the Daynals are already visiting our world to plan for a future era when humanity has loosened the chains of animalism and materialism. When that day comes, a Trinity Teacher Son, accompanied by seventy associates, will preside over a thousand‑year reign of spiritual illumination. They will not incarnate or appear visibly, but will work through the Brilliant Evening Stars, to weave spiritual truth into the minds and cultures of an awakening world.Their mission is not judgment, not dispensation, not correction, but a pure spiritual uplift. It's the culmination of the spiritual counterparts of all material knowledge and human wisdom. And when their final mission is complete, our world will be ushered into the eras of light and life, the sublime evolutionary destiny of every inhabited sphere.Then, as we finish with Section 10, the lens widens even further, revealing the united ministry of all Paradise Sons, the Michaels, the Avonals, and the Daynals, who work together as the living expression of the Universal Father, Eternal Son, and Infinite Spirit. Each order reveals a different face of Deity. The Creator Sons embody the Universal Father’s love and sovereignty. The Magisterial Sons reveal the Eternal Son’s mercy and service. And the Teacher Sons bring the Infinite Spirit's harmonized beauty, goodness, and truth to the worlds of time and space.In their perfect cooperation, these Sons of God are helping actualize the personality and sovereignty of God the Supreme throughout the universes. They are not creators, judges, or rulers. They are something subtler, more penetrating, and more enduring. They are the embodiment of wisdom, the living presence of moral enlightenment, the spiritual tutors of all realms, from the first mortal worlds to the highest spheres of Havona.With more than twenty‑one billion Teacher Sons active in the grand universe (and even more held in reserve on Paradise) their ministry is vast, patient, and exquisitely personal. They do not command loyalty; they awaken it. They do not impose truth; they illuminate it. Their influence is woven into the ascension career itself, working hand‑in‑hand with the Infinite Spirit’s personalities to guide souls upward and inward toward Paradise.We discovered these Daynals from where they begin their ministry in the humble training worlds of the systems and gradually advance inward toward the constellation capitals and the high schools of Salvington. They teach mortals, seraphim, morontia beings, and even the Sons of God themselves. They administer examinations, certify universe workers, and preside over the long curriculum of wisdom that prepares ascending creatures for the ages ahead.They are the ever‑faithful, universally efficient teachers of the universe who work quietly behind the scenes, shaping the moral and spiritual growth of worlds. This week we continued our study of Urantia Paper 20, The Paradise Sons of God, with a reading and discussion of Section 5. Bestowal of the Paradise Sons of God and Section 6. The Mortal-Bestowal Careers.We explored one of the most breathtaking revelations in the Urantia Papers: the mortal-bestowal missions of the Paradise Sons of God. These are the rare occasions when a divine being steps across the threshold of eternity to take up life as a mortal being, like us.Section 5 unveils the profound purpose behind these incarnations. Such a bestowal is never about persuading the Universal Father to love his children. God already loves us, perfectly and infinitely. Instead, these missions are an essential part of what makes the Creator Sons (the Michaels) and Magisterial Sons (the Avonals) the wisest, most compassionate, and most worthy rulers of the universes of time. Every inhabited planet receives a Bestowal Son. It is only after such a bestowal that the Spirit of Truth can be “poured out upon all flesh.” The Spirit of Truth then enables Thought Adjusters to indwell all normal human minds. Urantia may be cosmically small, but it is historically immense, because it was the stage for Michael, as the Creator of Nebadon, to make his seventh and final bestowal as the human Jesus of Nazareth. The Creator Son bestowal happens only once in the history of each universe. It was the triumph that secured Jesus as our undisputed Universe Sovereign.Section 6 then draws back the veil on the mortal careers of these divine Sons. They are born of a woman, grow up as children, labor in ordinary vocations, and live fully as mortals, though they never beget offspring. Their incarnations are not symbolic. They learn, struggle, pray, and experience life exactly as the human beings they serve. Even when their human experience is complete, their spiritual ministry of illuminating minds and uplifting souls continues. And though they must pass through death, it need not be violent; the tragedy of the cross was not a cosmic requirement of God’s. It was a tragic consequence of the circumstances of this world. Magisterial Missions.We stepped into one of the most fascinating and least understood ministries in the universe, the judicial and magisterial work of the Paradise Avonals, also known as the Magisterial Sons of God. These are the divine magistrates who preside over the great turning points of evolutionary worlds, guiding entire dispensations from one age to the next.Section 3 reveals the Avonals in their judicial capacity as high adjudicators who awaken sleeping survivors, close out eras of mercy, and prepare the planetary hosts for the next chapter of planetary progress. They sit in judgment on the destinies of the races of time, not as executioners, but as the ones who render the verdicts with the authority that only they can bring. Their visits range from dramatic incarnations to quiet, invisible “technical missions.” Every appearance they make marks a decisive moment in a world’s spiritual evolution.We then explored Section 4 and the magisterial missions themselves. These are the rare and luminous incarnations when an Avonal Son appears on a world as a full-fledged member of the mortal races. These missions prepare a planet for the eventual arrival of a bestowal Son, anchoring truth, stabilizing progress, and inaugurating new epochs of planetary life. Some worlds receive many such visitations; others only a few. Urantia, uniquely, has received none, its normal sequence having been forever altered by the extraordinary bestowal of Christ Michael himself.The revelators hint that an Avonal may still come to Urantia in a future age, though the timing and manner remain hidden even from the angels. They have tremendous impact on the spiritual destiny of the worlds they visit. This week on The Cosmic Citizen, we completed our study of Paper 19. The Coordinate Trinity Origin Beings, with a study of the last two sections: Section 6. Havona Natives, and Section 7. Paradise Citizens.We took a breathtaking look at the beings who stand closest to the heart of creation, the Havona Natives and the Paradise Citizens. These are the children of the Paradise Trinity, born in divine perfection, yet still capable of growth, experience, and destiny.We first explored the astonishing role of the Havona natives, those radiant personalities who welcome ascending mortals into the billion worlds of the central universe. They are perfect, but not static. Through their deep and abiding friendships with pilgrims from the evolutionary worlds, they gain the one thing they cannot create for themselves: experience. In return, they offer ascending souls a companionship so healing, so ennobling, that it helps restore everything lost or stunted in the long struggle of ascension through time and space.We next read about the Paradise Citizens, the supernal inhabitants of the Isle of Light and Life. They are the oldest, most diverse, and least revealed of all Trinity-origin beings. They move freely through the universe of universes, communicating instantaneously, traveling with unimaginable speed, and yet remaining serenely anchored in the changeless presence of the Father.Together, these two orders complete the portrait of the Trinity’s personal creation: beings who have never fallen, never faltered, and yet remain fully free.
