She holds more challenge wins than any other competitor in the history of Top Chef. She is a culinary judge on the Top Chef series and The Food Network’s The Julia Child Challenge. She is the host of Tasting Wild, the National Geographic docuseries on Hulu. She has been recognized as “one of the best female chefs in San Francisco” and “40 under 40: Rising Star”.  In her new TV show, "Tasting Wild," Melissa ventures into nature with National Geographic explorers and photographers to seek creative inspiration and ingredients.
