Menopause MythBusters with Dr. Heather Hirsch

This week we are replaying our interview with Dr. Heather Hirsch (July 31, 2020).  Dr. Hirsch is an internal medicine physician, specializing in women's health and menopause care.  She runs the Midlife and Menopause Clinic at Brigham at Women's Center and she is also an instructor at Harvard Medical School. Since opening the clinic in Boston, Dr. Hirsch has spent a great deal of time correcting the myths of menopause.  Women are told: - you are too young - you need too few or too many tests - HRTs are dangerous - it is too early or late to start on hormone replacement and many more. On this week's episode, we discuss the clinic, the correct information we should be receiving and Dr. Hirsch's plans for the next generation of doctors.
