Mental health doesn't care about your gender, sexuality or cultural background. It can impact any one of us in a variety of ways. Amielle is a proud queer or gay, trans masculine and gender queer human (pronouns he/him or they/them). He grew up in regional Victoria and NSW and has volunteered in the community most of their life but has more recently concentrated on volunteering in the LGBTIQ+ community. He now works in community services as a community engagement worker, facilitator and peer worker for Wellways Australia.
