from Psychology Talks · host Ambreen Nadeem Nadeem

Topic: Mental Health for Women  Guest Speaker: Sarah Willoughby Mental disorders can affect women and men differently. Women and men can develop most of the same mental disorders and conditions, but they may experience different symptoms. Hence, they need to be treated ed differently. Similarly, on the other hand some  disorders are more common in women, such as depression, anxiety, and eating disorders. There are also certain disorders that are unique to women. For example, some women experience symptoms of depression at times of hormone change, such as during or after pregnancy (perinatal depression). In this episode, Sarah and I discussed, how mental health affects women differently and what are the ways to manage well-being. More importantly when to seek help. Sarah is a Transformation Coach, International Bestselling Author, Speaker, Infertility Coach and Energy Healer  www.sarahwilloughby.com
