As women of colour most of us do not have space for the exploration all versions of ourselves. Self-exploration is a luxury that usually, in South Africa, comes with a certain amount of affluence.Why are we as a community so stunted in terms of our education around mental illness? Is our current way of life contributing to the rising wave of people who are struggling? What does it really mean to be poor and struggling in South Africa?
