from The Kathryn Zox Show · host Kathryn Zox

Kathryn interviews Nutrition Counselor Joan Ifland PhD. From ribs and hamburgers to hotdogs and pie, staying true to your new diet is never easy during summer holidays. Dr. Ifland, who specializes in processed food addiction, discusses how food triggers work, why summer holidays lead to dieting setbacks, tips for resisting these BBQ cravings, as well as festive replacement recipes. A graduate of Stanford University with 20 years of experience in the science of nutrition, food addiction and recovery, Dr. Ifland specializes in how processed foods impact the body, mind and emotions. She's been interviewed on The Oprah Winfrey Network, Fox News, KTLA, and in Shape, Fortune, Prevention, U.S. News and many more. Kathryn also interviews Certified Mindfulness Coach Michael Keet, author of "Moneyfulness®: Learning to Live with Money." 72% of all Americans experience stress about their finances. However, this stress is often a product of their convictions and behavior. People can find a variety of stress-relieving tips regarding depression, burn-out and anxiety, yet in the concept of mindfulness, there is no mention of stress reduction about money problems. Keet presents Moneyfulness® — a unique concept that fills this gap in the overall concept of mindfulness. He presents the idea that people's mindset about money and the practical "how-to" belong together. With no relevant education or work experience, Keet became a finance director at age 30 and is now an entrepreneur developing online accounting software to help small business owners.
