Michael Monroe Press Conference at Hellfest 2022

On this episode of The Adventures of Pipeman, Pipeman brings you the press conference of Michael Monroe live from Hellfest in France. Michael shares how he celebrated his recent birthday opening up for Alice Cooper in Germany where he was surprised with a birthday cake and the audience sang happy birthday for him. Michael also shares some information surrounding a once in a lifetime concert that will be happening September 23rd in Finland and states, be there, or, you may regret it as very cool things will be happening that you do not want to miss. Michael is asked about the recording process during the pandemic and how the reception of his new album was with fans. Michael explains how he couldn’t play live for two years as all his band members live all around the world and how he’s missed performing live so much. Michael speaks about the new engineer he worked with during the pandemic who was able to help the band not only put together the new album together but help give it a new sound in the best way. Michael is posed the question, if you could have any band play one of your songs, what band would he chose, what song would he want them to sing and would he want them to play it in their own style or his style to which he responds confidently that he would want his own band to play Derelict Palace from the new album as it’s one of his favourites and he knows the band will do the song justice as they have great chemistry, have been best of friends for years and always have a great time together. Towards the end of the conference, Michael is asked about how he has managed to get through everything life has thrown at him and if there’s any quotes that keeps him going.
