The Sex Discrimination 1984 was introduced to protect women. "In 2013 the Gillard Government made an amendment to that Act, removing the biological definitions of Man and Woman and placed in its stead "gender identity" as a protected attribute." This amendment is now impacting Women's Rights, and Women Only Spaces.
