Magnuson was recently honored as the Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA) Star of the Year by Choose Lansing, a recognition tied to his 15 years of facilitating the CTA program, which trains frontline hospitality employees about the Lansing region's attractions and the importance of customer service. He also highlighted notable 2024 tourism statistics for the Tri-County Lansing region, including 6.7 million annual visitors, 9,500 local hospitality jobs, and $732 million in total economic impact.
