Mid-Career Crisis with Jim Boyd

Former colleague, Jim Boyd, Founder of Cirrus Group Consulting, joined me to talk about career paths and midlife career changes. It's fitting since Jim made a career change of his own just a couple years shy of his fiftieth birthday. In 2019, he started his own Data/AI Consulting firm. One year later the pandemic hit. And in 2024, he and his family packed their bags and moved from the US to Australia! Today Jim runs US-based, Cirrus, from down under. During his career, Jim has helped thousands of people naviagte their careers. He understands the challenges associated with making the decision to persue a new path. We talked about cultural fit, job interviews, the importance of networking, and maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
