Midwifery Model of Care

In this episode, we discuss midwifery. Some of our listeners may know a lot about midwifery care; some may have a midwife or have delivered with a midwife. But many moms in the US don't. Doctors attend most deliveries. So, today, we will talk a lot about what midwives do. The midwifery model of care is outstanding. All of us who work in maternal health should learn about it and implement aspects of midwifery care into the care we provide. As a patient, you should look for these elements in the care you receive regardless of whether or not you have a midwife.
