The temporary repatriation site at the Old Durban Drive-In has officially closed after operations ended yesterday (on Sunday). However, thousands of Malawian nationals across South Africa are still awaiting repatriation. Scores remain camped at the former Drive-In site despite its closure. The KwaZulu-Natal provincial government says plans are underway to relocate those still at the facility. Sakina Kamwendo spoke to KwaZulu-Natal head of government communications Bongani Gina
