Mike Gminski - S3E18 - Duke Legend

This week Coach Doherty interviews former Duke basketball and NBA legend Mike Gminski. Mike is a college basketball TV analyst for teh ACC and CBS Sports. He played 4 seasons with th eDuke Blue Devlis, from 1977 to 1980. He led the team in scoring both junior and senior seasons. He was ACC Rookie of the Year and then firs tteam All ACC the next three years. He was ACC Player of the Year in 1979. At the time of graduation, Mike was Duke all time leading scorer. Gminski was named to the ACC 50th anniversary men's basketball team as one of the 50 greatest players in Atlantic Coast Conference history. Gminski went on to play in the NBA for 14 years. He is also a member of the National Polish American Sports Hall of Fame.
