Continuing our series on “moms outside the box,” Lt. Col.  Mona Johnson USA, Retired joins Zaiba and Uzma today to discuss her military career post-divorce, the unique experiences she had as a single Muslim mom in the Army, and the cultural hot topics she saw then and now. As an immigrant to this country in the late 50s, Miss Mona has literally seen the United States transform in progressive ways, yet remained stagnant in others.
