本集節目回顧1975年楊弦發表《中國現代民歌集》，將余光中的現代詩譜曲，被視為民歌運動的開端。1977年「金韻獎」與「民謠風」等活動與專輯促使民歌走向商業化，培育出齊豫、蔡琴、李建復、葉佳修等歌手。以及廣播人陶曉清大力推動，使民歌在電台熱播，成為當時青年的集體記憶。 1980年代中後期，隨著解嚴及流行音樂工業成熟，曲風走向搖滾與商業流行，1990年代後走下坡，但民歌培育的人才，例如李宗盛、羅大佑等人仍成為後期台灣流行樂壇的主力。 -- Hosting provided by SoundOn
