'Mind Aligned' || ADRIANE DAILEY

from Beyond Recovery™ · host Matt Gardiner

Adriane has quite the story from her triumph over alcohol addiction to her hypnosis practice that helps those in recovery! Topics include: Drinking heavily in high school, different homes growing up, low self-esteem, "drinking guys under the table", a few hospital visits for alcohol poisoning, her first AA visit at age 24, a co-dependent drinking buddy in college, "When did this stop being fun", becoming sober at age 27, detox, rehab, sober living for 8 months. Then Adriane turned to exercise and read 'A New Earth' by Eckhart Tolle and something just clicked for her. We then got into plant medicine, the pettiness of ego, and a willingness to learn and grow. The back half of the conversation is incredibly fascinating as Adriane explains, in-depth, what her form of hypnotherapy is and how it works. In her own words: "I started a business at the beginning of this year with a focus on helping people get and stay sober. I use a very effective method of hypnosis which allows people to address the cause of the behaviour and break free from the problem. We rely on mainstream solutions to our problems that are quite ineffective and keep us coming back for more. All of our problems are in the subconscious mind, yet the solutions we turn to address the problem as if it's a conscious problem. I myself have been sober for over 9 years after a real struggle in putting alcohol down and am hoping I can effectively help people in their path."
