Ministry of Health launches Vector Awareness Campaign to Combat Vector-borne Diseases

The Environmental Health Division within the Ministry of Health, Wellness and Elderly Affairs are taking steps to combat vector-borne diseases in country by launching its vector awareness campaign under the theme, "Stop the Spread. Controlling vectors starts with you." The public are encouraged to play their part in controlling vectors and safeguarding the health of the nation by engaging in activities. Some of the activities to be undertaken under the vector awareness campaign this year are road shows in communities, drum covering workshops, educational sessions, summer camps and targeted surveillance and simulation exercises.
