Ministry of Health Lucia Strengthens Port Health Surveillance and Preparedness through Stakeholder Training

The Ministry of Health, Wellness and Nutrition is strengthening capacity to safeguard public health at ports of entry through the hosting of Port Health Stakeholder Training. The training brought together stakeholders in port health, with the aim of reviewing the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for port health operations. It also provided an opportunity for stakeholders to enhance their knowledge of preventing, detecting, communicating and responding effectively to public health threats at the ports of entry.
