God has been in the business of provision since creation.  God met the needs of Abraham, where He received the name Jehovah Jireh, when He provided a ram for the sacrifice. Genesis 22:14 says, “So Abraham called that place The Lord Will Provide. And to this day it is said, ‘On the mountain of the Lord it will be provided.’” The death of Jesus on Calvary's hill was God's ultimate provision for our greatest need. Jesus is Jehovah Jireh, our great provider.
