Tolkien. to the worlds of sci-fi and fantasy early through shows His passion for storytelling led him to create his own imaginative worlds, earning him the prestigious Prix Aurora Award for Best YA Novel in Canada for Icarus Down. By day, James works as a communications officer supporting environmental conservation efforts, helping protect land and community spaces. By night, he continues to explore new worlds through his writing—blending creativity, curiosity, and a love for storytelling.
