Missed Moments: Part Two

Every person faces divine moments where they can either capture God's opportunities or let them slip away. Through the stories of the rich fool, the rich young ruler, and the sacrificial widow, we learn that God measures our offerings not by their size but by what they cost us personally. The danger lies in placing our confidence in wealth rather than in God. When we give sacrificially rather than comfortably, we demonstrate trust in God's provision over our financial security. The question isn't how much we can give, but how much it will cost us and where we're truly placing our trust.
