Mississippi researchers highlight local species during Shark Week

The Discovery Channel kicked off its annual Shark Week event on Sunday. Jill Hendon, the Director of the USM Center for Fisheries Research and Development, told us there are typically 9 species that hang out regularly in the Mississippi Sound and the surrounding Barrier Islands.
