Suspended Ekurhuleni deputy police chief Julius Mkhwanazi raises concern over what he terms as "differential treatment" at the commission compared to other witnesses, including Chief Mapiyeye, Kelebogile Thipa and Revo Spies. Mkhwanazi who concluded his testimony before the Madlanga Commission, has been accused of attempting to establish a parallel security unit within the EMPD.
