MO Legislative Update With Representative Brandon Ellington and Medical Cannabis Refugee Abbey Rowe

Legislative Update The Missouri Legislative session has about 5 weeks to go and the debates and haggling are in full swing. There are lobbyist and advocacy groups buttonholing legislators all over the Capitol and of course school children from various parts of the state learning how government works. Last week a the Missouri Association for Social Welfare (MASW), Kansas City Criminal Justice Task Force (KCJTF), Missouri CURE (MOCURE) and others banded together to go to Jefferson City and lobby for a number of bills that they are interested in and coming up this week Crime Victims and Law enforcement will be in the Capitol to lobby for their bills. On this edition of Jaws of Justice Radio we will talk with 22nd District Representative Brandon Ellington about the bills that are finding traction in committee and those that will probably not make it to the floor for debate or a vote.
