Budget & Financial Planning Manager Christine Moody returned to give an update on the budget process and Senior Operations Analyst Jeff Kincaid joined me to talk about the work of the Financial Exploration Team. The Fiscal Year 2026–2027 budget was approved by the Budget Committee on May 20 and is currently awaiting final adoption by the Board of County Commissioners on June 23. On June 9, the Board held a public hearing on the approved budget and began deliberations. The Board is expected to finish deliberating on any possible adjustments and adopt the budget next Tuesday.
