Monday, Dec. 1: Bad Idea Island, The Football Bet, Best and Worst of Christmas Music

Chaz and AJ's Bad Idea Island was supposed to feature a failed Black Friday event from the weekend, but morphed into something a little more top of mind. (0:00) The results from the Seymour and Woodland "War in the Woods" Thanksgiving football game is in, and that means a first selectwoman has a song to sing at the Toy Drive on Decemeber 12. Annmarie Drugonis of Seymour was on the phone along with Gerry Smith from Beacon Falls, to talk about her upcoming performance of "I'm Gettin' Nuttin' for Christmas." (8:10) Dr. Kim Shaunesey from the Boys and Girls Village was on the phone to represent one of the benefitting charities of the Toy Drive. Dr. Kim shared a letter and some thoughts from some of the kids who have received gifts from the Toy Drive in the past. (19:28)Rob Harvilla, "The 90's Guy" was on the phone with Chaz and AJ to talk about the best and worst Christmas music. Some of Rob's choices caused arguments, but one in particular really seemed to bum everyone out. (25:46)
