Money for Joy

from Intuitive Wellness · host Intuitive Wellness

In this episode, we discuss how we are learning to spend money on the things that bring us pleasure by releasing the guilt and shame that have prevented us from finding genuine joy in material pleasures in the past. We are investing in ourselves and our futures while trusting the universe will have our back and provide the resources necessary for our joy. Show notes: Have you seen a change in your way of thinking about whether you want to buy something? (2:49) I think the way that society sets us up it's kind of like we don't get to make our own choices about how we spend our money because we're so busy trying to avoid shame. (8:29) I guess, I want to talk also to the audience who's like okay that sounds good, but like I don't have money to spend on the things that bring me joy like cuz I remember being there. (10:41) How did you go from that mindset [of I can’t run out of money because I have no support] to like I’m okay with spending money on starting a business, even though I don't know exactly how much it's going to cost or when I’m going to be getting this money back and I still can't depend on my parents (that's still not safe)? (16:27) At this point, I guess, I just really feel like if this is something i'm supposed to be doing, then the resources will come.
