Mel is an enrolled member of the Yakama Nation in Washington State. His entire career has been in the forests of The Pacific Northwest, with the United States Forest Service and the Yakama Nation.He started to listen to stories of the Forest People as a young child from his great grandfather. He would listen to locals and other enrolled members of their encounters. During is career he has had numerous encounters with Sasquatch, ranging from putrid smells to sighting one.That is when it peaked his interest and wanted to learn more than just the stories. He became a member of the BFRO and investigating encounters across Washington and Oregon. During his Forestry career was the main investigator for all the encounters of Bigfoot.He has done many interviews with all media including Coast to Coast AM, The Robb Report, ESPN and The Yakima Herald Republic.Mel has appeared on television programs; Red Earth Uncovered, Finding Bigfoot, Expedition Bigfoot, Yeti Massacre.
