"More Christians were martyred in the 20th century than in all previous centuries combined". That's according to the two world leading missionary statisticians David B. Barrett and Todd M. Johnson. Today we hear about this very subject from Author, Scholar and Historian Dr Jerry Pattengale. From a poor yet adventurous childhood he has gone on to write dozens of books and news articles and now works out of Indiana Wesleyan University. He co-authored The New Book of Christian Martyrs - an update to the classic Foxe's Book of Martyrs with host Johnnie Moore which remembers modern-day heroes who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for their Christian faith.
