Morning — April 27 — 1 Corinthians 7:29

What I am saying, brothers, is that the time is short. From now on those who have wives should live as if they had none; — 1 Corinthians 7:29The brevity of human history is a divine invitation to release our grip on temporal security and anchor our identity in the unshakable kingdom of God. Because Christ already holds the future, the believer is freed from frantic management of earthly affairs to live with singular devotion to the Savior. Recognizing the fleeting nature of this present age reorders the heart toward the eternal reality of Christ's lordship.
