Morning — April 4 — Revelation 1:17

When I saw Him, I fell at His feet like a dead man. But He placed His right hand on me and said, “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last, — Revelation 1:17John fell at Christ's feet as dead, but the risen Lord laid His right hand on him and said, Fear not; I am the first and the last. You haven't come to a terrifying mountain of fire and darkness, but to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God. We have a great High Priest who's been tempted in every way we are, yet without sin — so we can approach the throne of grace with confidence. He's the same yesterday, today, and forever. Don't be afraid.
