Morning — April 7 — 2 Corinthians 6:10

sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; poor, yet making many rich; having nothing, and yet possessing everything. — 2 Corinthians 6:10True joy and sufficiency are not generated by circumstance but by union with Christ, whose grace secures a believer's standing regardless of what is gained or lost. Because this grace is unshakeable, it frees believers to overflow toward others rather than turn inward in self-protection. The gospel relocates the ground of contentment entirely outside of what can be seen or measured. In Christ, the believer's sufficiency is settled apart from any external condition.
