Morning — August 15 — Hebrews 13:20,21

Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with every good thing to do His will. And may He accomplish in us what is pleasing in His sight through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. — Hebrews 13:20,21The God of peace equips you with everything good to do His will, working in you what pleases Him through Jesus Christ. Notice who's doing the work—God makes you complete. He works in you both to will and to work for His pleasure. The branch doesn't strain to produce fruit; it abides in the vine. Abide in Christ, and the good works will follow.
