But just as He who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do, — 1 Peter 1:15The calling comes first—you're a chosen race, a royal priesthood—then conduct flows from the calling. Walk as children of light and let your light shine so men see your good works and glorify your Father. Holiness isn't a ladder to climb; it's a life to live because you've already been called.
