Morning — August 29 — Proverbs 16:20

Whoever heeds instruction will find success, and blessed is he who trusts in the LORD. — Proverbs 16:20Happy isn't a feeling you manufacture—it's what happens when you trust the Lord. Abraham believed God when there was no human reason to hope, and that's the pattern for every believer; when you lean on the Lord instead of yourself, He holds you up and proves Himself your refuge in trouble. The man who trusts God isn't foolish—he's the wisest man alive.
