Morning — August 30 — Esther 5:2

As soon as the king saw Queen Esther standing in the court, she found favor in his sight. The king extended the gold scepter in his hand toward Esther, and she approached and touched the tip of the scepter. — Esther 5:2Esther approached the king's throne trembling, and he held out the golden scepter—a picture of what we have in Christ: bold access to the throne of grace. Because Jesus opened the way through His blood, we don't come crawling in fear but with full assurance; perfect love casts out fear. The King of kings welcomes every one of His children, so come boldly—the scepter is extended.
